We do not offer refunds. Returns are difficult for small business, so we encourage you to buy carefully and thoughtfully!

However, if you aren't fully satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit for future use.*

RETURNS

All returns must be made within 7 days of receiving your order. We do not cover the cost of return shipping. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you choose to exchange for another product, we will cover the cost to send it to you.

Online and in-person purchases can be returned both online or in store.

To return in store: bring your item(s) in the original packaging with your receipt.

To return via mail: email us at hello@rooftopfruit.co, include your order number, the item(s) you're returning, and if you want store credit or the item(s) you'd like in exchange.

We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item, so we recommend you use a trackable shipping service and/or purchase shipping insurance. 

Once your item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that it has been received. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange depending on the condition of the item.

When approved, store credit will be sent or exchanged item(s) of choice will ship.

If you have not received your exchange within 7-10 days of receiving tracking from us, please let us know.

DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE

In the event an item arrives damaged or defective, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order. Include order number and photos of the damage. Replacements, store credit, or refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis.

 

*To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in the original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt (this can be digital). Perishable goods such as food, flowers, plants, and magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate, sanitary goods, health and personal care items, jewelry or sale items. We reserve the right to refuse any return. Items that are ineligible for return can be shipped back to you for a $10 fee, or you may forfeit the returned item.

The above rules apply with the exception of apparel: all apparel in new and unused condition in original packaging and with tags attached can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receiving item. Any full priced item purchased with a discount is not eligible for return, but may be eligible for store credit or exchange. Returns must be postmarked within 7 days of receipt. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and insurance, and may forfeit original shipping charges from return.

Sale, donation and vintage items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Some sale, vintage and second hand items are likely to have minor flaws due to the nature of being pre-loved items, or from having been on our racks for a while (hence the sale price). Some examples of minor flaws include and are not limited to; pilling, markings, discolorations, loose threading, and other signs of wear from the previous owner and age.
