If you know me at all, you know it's not very often that a new brand comes along that knocks me off my feet. Especially not quite like Flamingo Estate has.
I started hearing buzz about them a couple years ago, and so of course I had to research their products and methods. It was all so beautiful. The copywriting. The design. The photographs. The idea that there is an up-and-coming brand that is just as obsessed as we are about, not only the quality of their product, but also with connecting to and preserving the planet. Of course I'm always a little leery--is it too good to be true? So until I got to experience the products in person this past summer, I didn't fully understand just how incredible Flamingo Estate truly is.
This article from the NYTIMES is riddled with celebrity anecdotes, but if you can get past that lol, you see that the heart of the company is and has always been supporting small farms. Born during the pandemic from an attempt to save farms that lost contracts due to restaurant closures, Flamingo Estate's founder Richard Christiansen formed and grew close relationships with those farms, and is still super hands-on with the company, ensuring it upholds its initial core values.
From traceable, organically-grown and hand-harvested ingredients, to expertly crafted scent profiles, (and a new Manuka Rich Cream that will make your hands thank me--read all about it here), I'm sure Flamingo Estate is going to blow your socks off like it did me, and I'm so excited to share it with you.
Find our limited collection of Flamingo Estate in store and online. Refills coming so soon!
